Dear colleagues in the fields of medicine and psychology, individuals affected by mental health conditions, and their families,

We would like to cordially invite you to another lecture series as part of our Magdeburg Psychiatric and Psychotherapeutic Colloquium

Through this event format, we present current research topics focusing on mental illness as well as innovative therapeutic concepts to a broad audience, with the aim of fostering dialogue among those affected, their families, experts, and the general public. In doing so, we draw particularly on the expertise of the German Center for Mental Health (DZPG).

We have once again secured outstanding guest speakers for the 2026 summer semester. This time, the topics will include the long-term effects of childhood trauma, the network structures of mental illnesses, and the early symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases.
